Instaferm® Green is an active organic dry yeast. The yeast is fermented on plant substrates derived from organic agriculture. After a careful and long fermentation the yeast is separated from the substrate, concentrated and carefully dried without using any emulsifier. The whole process is monitored closely and certified organic under the EU regulation.
Instaferm® Green is designed to be used in a wide range of baking applications. Each lot is tested for its raising power before it is released.
Instaferm® Green is available in 1, 10 and 20kg packages.
Instaferm® Organic Dry Yeast is available in 9g packages that are sufficient to bake with 500g flour.
When using Organic Yeast a prolonged resting time will lead to better results and more flavorful baked products.
Rehydration of the yeast in warm water leads to better result than direct addition to flour. Directions for use: Rehydrate 1 part of yeast with 5 parts of warm water (35 °C / 95 °F) and let it rehydrate for 10 minutes. The yeast is now ready to be used.
